Hi!

Guten Tag!

I'm Verena. I'm a wife to a pastor, a mama to two sweet boys here on earth and one baby girl in heaven, a behavior analyst (by trait and during the day) at a local university, and passion photographer (during the golden hour in the evening).

I was born and raised in a small village in western Germany, and taking photos runs a bit in my blood. My dad was a photographer and videographer for the German police, and I caught the same bug early on in life--taking pictures of anything and everything growing up.

I moved to the US in the summer of 2008 (just months after graduating high school). It's always been a dream of mine to live in sunny California (I was obsessed with The O.C., especially Seth Cohen), and an athletic scholarship for tennis allowed me to make that dream a reality.

Leaving all of my family and friends behind, I moved to California and started studying psychology (which was also a huge desire of mine). In undergrad I met my husband, Matt, who is the single best thing that ever happened to me. We got married shortly after graduating with our Bachelor's degrees in 2012. In 2013, we moved to Stockton, CA, to be closer to our local church family. Since then, we purchased our own little home, and added two boys to our tribe. God has been really good to us and we are so grateful for the countless blessings he gives us.
